Working the Basics, Learning More!
The very successful Beyond Basics class is proud to offer classes to students interested in solidifying their dog’s obedience training education.
The
class is designed with a large dose of obedience exercises intermingled with
some light intro to agility, preparation for therapy certification and fun loving dog
tricks. We like to keep it varied and
the weekly lesson plan will depend on the student’s skill level and targeted
goals.
No matter what their age, this class is great for all dogs who need more work on the basics of obedience like walking on a loose leash and then off leash, coming when called and the stays. Who doesn't want a dog that just comes to you when called?
Many of our students are young dogs that are just too mature for a beginner’s class yet not quite ready for an advanced canine training class. Those interested in any dog sport, Therapy, Rally, Agility, Herding or Fly Ball competition can all benefit from having reinforced obedience training in their back pocket. The other benefit is the strong bonding that occurs between you and your dog through one on one interaction.
